Jamia Ahsan-ul-Banat: A New Beginning
The first institution established under this society was Jamia Ahsan-ul-Banat.
Initial Journey: It began very modestly on the rooftop of a blacksmith’s house, solely for the education and upbringing of young girls. Girls gathered there to learn Nazira (Quran reading), Hifz (Quran memorization), and essential Masail-e-Shariah (Islamic jurisprudence).
Patronage and Guidance: Throughout this academic and reformative journey, we had the guidance and patronage of our respected teacher, Hazrat Mufti Salman Sahib Mansoorpuri (may his shadow never fade). Under his guidance, this caravan continued to move forward.
Expansion and Growth: Later, as the need grew, the decision was made to equip the girls with Aalimiyat (advanced Islamic scholarship) education. The institution moved from the blacksmith’s roof to the Jamia Masjid area of Moradabad city, where 100 to 200 female students began receiving education under a regular boarding system.
Principle of Upbringing: Educating a man means educating an individual, whereas educating a woman becomes a means to educate and nurture an entire family. Since a child spends most of their time in the mother’s lap, an educated and character-driven mother can reform an entire generation.
Expansion of the Institution and Government Affiliation
Due to the continuous increase in female students, that space also became insufficient. With the support and patronage of well-wishers, the current spacious land was acquired, and the scope of educational services was expanded further.
- A spacious, formal building for Jamia Ahsan-ul-Banat was constructed.
- Keeping educational necessities in mind, approval from the Madarsa Board was obtained.
- Later, JB Junior High School and Kanya Inter College were established and affiliated with the UP Board.
AIA Academy for Girls: The Historical Turning Point of 2020
In the year 2020 (prior to the global COVID-19 pandemic), our respected mother posed a thought-provoking question to us two brothers:
“Will your sense of honor tolerate sending your daughters to schools where the dress code and environment lead to immodesty and astray behavior?”
This question deeply stirred our thoughts. The reality at the time was that no comprehensive institution existed that offered a high-quality, dignified blend of modern and Islamic education simultaneously.
As a result of this concern, AIA Academy for Girls was established. Here, female students from Nursery to 12th grade are prepared to acquire complete insight into both religious and worldly knowledge, enabling them to guide their future children in both spiritual and worldly matters.
Branches and “AIA Academy” (for Boys)
By the grace of Allah, today 6 branches of this institution (Jamia Masjid, Tawayela, Karula, etc.) are actively serving with utmost dedication.
Following the successful experience with female students, a strong need was felt to establish an institution of the same standard for boys. For this purpose, a decision was made to build a mosque on the premises. Consequently, AIA Academy Boys was launched.
Current Departments: At present, admissions are open and ongoing for the departments of Nazira, Hifz-e-Quran, Persian, and Arabic (Years I & II).
Modern System: Preparations are underway for the formal launch of the modern school education system.
